1. Information we collect
We collect only the personal information necessary for our business activities. This may include: your name and company name (provided voluntarily when you contact us), your email address and phone number (when you initiate contact), your professional information relevant to your inquiry, and your browser language preference (stored locally in your browser only). This business website is not directed to children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
2. How we use your information
Information you provide is used solely to: respond to your inquiries and provide requested services, communicate about potential engagements, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Third-party services & data processors
Our website serves all fonts and assets directly from our own infrastructure — no requests are made to Google Fonts, analytics providers, or advertising networks. When you submit our contact form, your data passes through the following sub-processors: Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) — our contact form runs on Cloudflare Workers infrastructure; Resend, Inc. (USA) — contact form submissions are delivered via Resend's transactional email service. Their use may involve cross-border processing in the United States. External links on this site, including LinkedIn and the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec, are governed by those sites' own privacy practices.
4. Data retention
Contact inquiries received by email are retained for a maximum of 24 months for business follow-up purposes, then securely deleted. Your browser language preference (i18nextLng) and cookie consent choice (cobaltium_consent) are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to our servers. You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or using the reset button on our Cookie Policy page.
5. Security measures
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or destruction. These include encrypted communications (HTTPS/TLS), strict access controls, and regular security reviews aligned with our NIST-based security framework.
6. Your rights under Law 25
Under Quebec's Law 25, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate information; request cessation of dissemination or de-indexing when the legal conditions are met; receive eligible information collected from you in a structured, commonly used technological format; withdraw consent, subject to applicable legal and contractual limits; and be informed about decisions based exclusively on automated processing. 7. Filing a complaint

9. Confidentiality incident response
In the event of a confidentiality incident involving personal information, Cobaltium Inc. will assess the risk of harm, take prompt measures to reduce that risk, maintain the required incident register, and, when there is a risk of serious harm, promptly notify the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (CAI) and the affected individuals as required by law.
